The boy ran fast, because he was late for school. He must hurry up, or he would miss the first class. As he dashed through the streets, he narrowly avoided some people and nearly tripped over a stray cat. Finally, he reached the school gates and took a deep breath, relieved that he had made it in time.

As he entered the classroom, he realized that today was the day of the big test. His heart sank as he remembered that he had not studied at all. The teacher handed out the test papers, and he struggled to answer the questions. Despite his efforts, he knew that he did not perform well.
