Prayer Bank: Let's Talk, God

Have you ever wondered what prayer truly means? Have you ever found it difficult to pray? I can relate to both of these questions. As a young Christian, my mother advised me to "store up prayers in the 'bank' during times of strength, because there may come a time when I feel weak and unable to pray." Eventually, that time did come, and I experienced it firsthand.

"The Prayer Bank, It’s Me God…Can We Talk?" begins with a portrayal of struggling with prayer and shares the approach I used to overcome that struggle through journaling my prayers and renewing my mind.

Drawing on the wisdom of my mother and the analogy of banking, The Prayer Bank involves actions such as making a faith "DEPOSIT," investing in oneself, waiting for that investment to mature, making a "WITHDRAWAL" of strength, and witnessing the transformation that comes from using this powerful tool.
